Stanford’s Online High School is an accredited, diploma-offering, highly selective independent high school, offering courses for grades 7-12. The mission of Stanford Online High School (OHS) is to create a worldwide learning community of diverse, intellectually passionate students and teachers.
Stanford Online High School is also the home of Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies (SPCS), which provides a diverse array of academic enrichment programs that take place mostly in the summer but also throughout the academic year. Held both online and on-campus, SPCS programs serve intellectually curious pre-college students from around the world.
Please note that the Stanford Online High School and Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies offices are located at the Stanford Redwood City Campus, however this position is Remote. You must be located within the US.
Stanford OHS and Pre-Collegiate Studies seek a dynamic Admissions Officer temporarily. The Admission Officer will communicate with prospective families, conduct interviews with student applicants, assist with online admission events, read admissions applications, help maintain our admissions system (Slate), review financial aid applications, and other admission and financial aid related tasks as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
Read, evaluate, recommend and advocate to the Admissions Committee for selected middle and high school applicants to consider for admission based on meeting current school criteria.
Review financial aid applications and manage financial aid communications.
Lead and manage small projects/programs by establishing and executing project plans, timelines, tasks, and objectives. Act as key contact to advise applicants and their families by responding to inquiries regarding application policies, processes and procedures in accordance with Stanford Online High School and Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies established messaging.
Conduct informational sessions for internal and external communities on a variety of subjects.
Represent the school and programs as the focal point of contact at planned online admission events.

Working knowledge of Slate is a plus.
The expected pay range for this position is $24.25 to $37.11 per hour not to exceed 40 hours per week. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
