Notre Dame Preparatory School (NDP), a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for girls in grades 6-12 located in Towson, Maryland, seeks a full-time teacher in our Mathematics Department for the remainder of the 2024 - 2025 school year.  Position will begin approximately Jan. 27, 2025.  This position will involve teaching sections of Upper Level Mathematics including, but not limited to: Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus and/or Trigonometry.

The school’s original mission, to foster academic excellence, spiritual growth and practice social justice in its students continues to inspire the approximately 800 girls currently enrolled.

Responsibilities: 

• Teach up to 5 out of 8 class periods each day. 
• Work collaboratively with members of the mathematics department on developing/improving curriculum. 
• Participate in ongoing professional development. 
• Participate in the school community with other duties as assigned, such as advisory. 

        Anticipated salary is $51,000 to $70,000 annually (based on experience).

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.  Master’s degree preferred. 
• Maryland State Teacher Certification preferred.  
• Prior high school Mathematics teaching experience preferred.  
• A passion for teaching Mathematics to high school. 
• Ability to integrate technology effectively into instruction.   
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of the Mathematics department and the NDP community.
