Key Responsibilities:
Head the varsity volleyball team, providing expert coaching and mentorship.
Create and execute practice plans that enhance players' skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Develop game strategies and analyze performance to ensure continuous improvement.
Encourage personal development and a positive team culture.
Assist school staff, the athletic department, and the fitness center to support the athletic program.
Build strong relationships with players, parents, and the school community.
Stay updated on current volleyball trends, rules, and regulations through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
Degree: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Previous experience in volleyball as a player and/or coach.
Proven coaching experience at the high school level is preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of volleyball techniques, rules, and strategies.
Leadership: Exceptional leadership and motivational skills.
Certification
Valid Nebraska state teacher and/or NDE coaching certification. Training is available if candidates do not possess this certification.
Relevant coaching certifications are preferred, which may include. CPR, AED, and First Aid certified.
Candidates must complete online courses related to Concussion in Sports, Heat Illness Prevention, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest each year.
