This scheduled is for the academic year plus summer session (approx.. 5 weeks).
General Responsibilities
Provides nursing care for a diverse group of students both on an ambulatory and extended care basis.
Provides appropriate primary nursing care through professional clinical nursing skills including assessment, care, referral, support and management of all students who come to the RMS Wellness Center.
Identifies, assesses, evaluates and provides nursing care for acute, chronic and episodic health conditions.
Provides urgent and emergency nursing care to students who present to the RMS Wellness Center.
Ideal Candidate
Must have strong assessment skills, be comfortable working independently, and enjoy working with the adolescent population.
Strong communication, organizational and time management skills are imperative.
Computer skills are required and experience with electronic medical records is strongly preferred.

Requirements
A MA RN license in good standing.
BSN or higher level education preferred.
Current CPR/AED certification required.
5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse required.
Experience in Adolescent Medicine, school health, ambulatory care, urgent care/orthopedic or reproductive health care preferred.
