We are currently seeking a part time IB History teacher, for grades 9 through 12, in our International Baccalaureate track. Priority will be given to candidates with IB certification. At least 3 years of experience as a History teacher are necessary.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in History, or related field.
Three (3) years of teaching History or a related subject area at the required grade levels.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and valid teaching certification.
The flexibility in attitude and teaching styles associated with a private school education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in History, or related field.
Five (5) years of teaching History or a related subject area.
Familiarity with educational technology such as interactive boards and multimedia instruments.
Bilingual French language skills are a plus.
