Mental Health Clinician - The Reservoir Group at The Lab School of Washington
The Reservoir Group is seeking a part-time, DC-licensed therapist (LPC, LCSW, LICSW, or Psychologist) who is eager to join our team and support students at The Lab School and in the surrounding community. Start date January 6, 2025.
Job responsibilities include:
Providing individual (and potentially group) evidence-based psychotherapy for school-aged clients for 2-3 days a week (5 clients per day), during the school day and after school
Consulting and collaborating with teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other mental health providers
Preferred hours are 10 AM to 6 PM, 2-3 days per week.
Professional development opportunities are available.
Proficiency with Google Suite and IEP systems a plus
Ideal candidates:
DC Licensed mental health professional (license-eligible will be considered)
2+ years of experience providing therapy or counseling to children and adolescents, ideally those with learning differences
Experience in schools, and/or with children with learning differences, preferred
Experience with IEP documentation and SPED regulations, preferred
Strong skill and interest in supporting students from a perspective of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Excellent collaborative work skills
The Psychology and Wellness Department of the Reservoir Group consists of psychologists, social workers and counselors who provide clinical services to Lab School students, as well as children, adolescents and adults from the community.
