Princeton Day School is seeking a Junior Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach for our highly competitive program.

Primary Responsibilities:

• In consultation with the Varsity Head coach, organize, supervise and evaluate practices to provide development in a positive and competitive environment for student athletes.
• Prepare athletes to demonstrate positive and competitive performances during competition.
• Adhere to all rules of member leagues and associations.
• Develop training programs that include monitoring practices and skill development.
• Instruction and demonstration of skill sets and techniques necessary for development and athletic achievement in the sport of lacrosse.
• Supervision of the proper use of equipment and inventory including uniforms.
• Performing support tasks as needed by the Head Coach or athletic department including attendance or other related records.
• Ensuring a positive environment aligned with our school’s mission.
• Provide regular communication and feedback to players and parents on individual and program performance.
• Ride the team bus to and from away games.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:  

• Prior Coaching or Playing experience (club or college level preferred)
• Ability to coach adolescent girls
• Ability to run drills in practices

• Passionate about individual and team soccer development
