Malden Catholic, a Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Codivisional Middle and High School for young men and women, seeks a candidate for a 7th and 8th Grade Math teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year. Master’s degree in field and minimum 2 years’ teaching experience preferred.

The Teacher:
• Teaches 5 periods, courses as assigned.
• Models the Catholic values of the School.
• Inspires, promotes, and nurtures the secondary level education of students by planning and tailoring courses of study; monitoring, assisting with, and assessing academic efforts.
• Provides a safe classroom environment conducive to learning and attentive to varied learning styles.
• Keeps parents informed of student progress.

The Math Department aims to produce students’ confidence in their mathematical ability and problem-solving skills, regardless of their ability or prior experience in mathematics. In addition, the department seeks to develop in every student the computational proficiency, number sense, and a solid mathematics foundation that may be applied and extended in subsequent mathematics and science classes.
Malden Catholic, located seven miles north of Boston, educates students in grades 7-12, drawing students from over 40 communities. Classes are single gender in all grades, 7-12.
