Malden Catholic, a Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Codivisional Middle and High School for young men and women, seeks a candidate for a 7th and 8th Grade Middle School Administrative Assistant position for the 2025-2026 school year. Skills/Qualifications:
•Minimum five or more years’ experience
•Bilingual Spanish/English (preferable but not required)
•Excellent word-processing and other computer skills
•Willingness and ease to learn new skills
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to speak publicly, confidently, respectfully
•Self-motivated, strong work ethic, flexibility, and a positive attitude for a fast-moving school environment.
•Outstanding organizational skills, flexible, and able to work independently
•Familiarity with and commitment to urban Catholic education
•Access to car is required
•Ability to work evenings and weekends on occasions for special events
•Willingness to support Catholic mission of the school;
Responsibilities:
•Receives, manages, directs school phone calls with a pleasant telephone style
•Screens, greets, signs-in, directs all visitors to the School with a gracious personality
•Polite personal interaction with students, parents, faculty, administration and the public
•Manages mail and deliveries
•Presents always cheerful, positive, polite “face” of the School
•Assists with clerical administrative projects for the Principals / Division Leaders
•Assists with communication to and from teachers and students
•Works collaboratively with other MC staff to maintain school records and systems
•Prepares Honor Rolls and reports as requested
•Other duties as assigned
