The Assistant Head of School for Strategic Engagement will report directly to the Head of School and play a pivotal role in advancing TVT Community Day School’s mission. This senior leadership position oversees the Development, Enrollment Management, and Marketing and Communications departments, ensuring alignment with the school’s strategic goals. This role focuses on fostering relationships, driving strategic growth, and enhancing the school’s reputation and financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Oversight
Provide executive oversight for the Development, Enrollment Management, and Marketing and Communications departments.
Ensure these departments operate effectively and collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, advising on strategies to strengthen the school’s advancement efforts.
Strategic Alignment
Foster alignment among the Development, Enrollment Management, and Marketing and Communications teams to create a unified and consistent approach to advancing TVT’s objectives.
Promote integrated planning and execution to optimize enrollment, philanthropy, and brand visibility.
Marketing and Communications
Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to promote the school’s mission, programs, and achievements
Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all platforms, including digital, print, and social media, to enhance the school’s brand identity and community engagement.
Collaborate with internal teams to create impactful content that resonates with prospective families, current stakeholders, and the broader community.
Manage external communications, including media relations, crisis communications, and public relations efforts.
Strategic Vision and Innovation
Develop and implement a forward-thinking strategic vision that positions the departments for long-term success and supports the school’s overarching vision and goals.
Identify and execute innovative strategies to enhance enrollment growth, philanthropic contributions, and community engagement.
Advancement Leadership
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including annual giving, capital campaigns, and planned giving.
Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, alumni, and key stakeholders to build lasting connections that support the school’s financial goals.
Oversee initiatives to strengthen the school’s brand identity and enhance external relations through effective marketing and communication strategies.
Enrollment and Retention Strategy
Guide the Enrollment Management team in developing innovative strategies to attract and retain a predictable and inclusive student body.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless and positive admissions experience.
Community Engagement and Outreach
Serve as a key ambassador for the school, building strong relationships with parents, alumni, and community members to enhance support and engagement.
Represent the school at events, cultivating connections that align with TVT’s mission and strategic priorities.
Team Leadership
Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports, empowering them to excel in their roles and achieve departmental goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across teams.
