About our School:

St. Michael’s Catholic Preparatory School (formerly St. Gabriel's Catholic School and St. Michael's Catholic Academy) is an outstanding co-educational Independent Catholic school serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade on two adjacent campuses in Austin, Texas. Primary Responsibilities

St. Michael's Prep is seeking an "as needed" bus driver to transport students to both local and out-of-town-events. This is a part-time non-exempt hourly position. Upon hire, the candidate will report to the Director of Auxiliary Programming.

Job Details:

• Drive students to both local and out-of-town events. These events include but are not limited to: athletic events, art competitions, retreats and academic field trips as needed.
• Routes will include trips to Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, as well as various locations in and around Austin. Local trips will be a minimum of four (4) hours.
• The driver's schedule will depend on the schedule of events but usually scheduled a minimum of two (2) weeks prior.

Required Experience, Degree, and Skills:

• Qualified candidates must have valid CDL class B with P endorsement.
• Candidates also must have at least one (1) verifiable year of experience operating a bus or comparable vehicle.
• Candidates must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes and be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug test.
