Forman School seeks an experienced and collaborative admission professional to oversee and lead in designing and implementing a strategic vision for enrollment management at Forman. This 12-month position is new to Forman and allows us to grow and strengthen our efforts in supporting admissions in process and policies, institutional strategy, retention, marketing and recruitment, and financial strategy. The Director of Enrollment Management will report directly to the Head of School.
Responsibility:
The Director of Enrollment Management is responsible for leading Forman’s admission strategy and execution. This position reports directly to the Head of School and serves on the senior leadership team. The Director oversees the Admission Office and Marketing and Communication while working in partnership with the Head of School, CFO, and Board of Trustees to ensure a transparent and realistic vision for the future of enrollment at Forman.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the admission marketing and communication offices
Meet or exceed enrollment targets set in partnership with the Board of Trustees and the Head of School
Co-chair the Admission and Marketing Committee in reporting to the Board of Trustees
Analyze and identify enrollment trends impacting independent boarding and day schools as well as higher education
Work in collaboration with senior leadership and the Board of Trustees to create a strategic enrollment plan that is in line with the mission and needs of the Forman School
Travel, investigate, and identify new markets, internationally and domestically, and grow Forman’s relationships and brand with educators, consultants, and feeder schools
Oversee re-enrollment efforts to minimize attrition and expand retention
Develop and implement a strategic recruitment and marketing plan and collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications, Director of Admissions, and the Head of School
Assess the value proposition of our programs and create messaging and marketing to support unified language for the Forman community
Work closely with the CFO to create and execute financial planning in regard to tuition revenue, tuition assistance, and enrollment
Partner with the advancement and alumni office in supporting engagement and onboarding of students and parents
Commitment to ongoing professional development regarding admissions and enrollment
Interest and curiosity around bright students who learn differently
Represent Forman in the highest regard in our greater communities, both personally and professionally

Qualities and Qualifications:
An individual who possesses Forman’s core values of Truth, Respect, and Kindness
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
Over 10 years of experience in education and a leadership role in admissions and enrollment management
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated leadership with proven ability to positively impact enrollment on an annual basis
Strong data analysis skills and understanding of research, demographics, and enrollment trends
Ability to ensure that anticipated challenges are understood and addressed in a transparent and timely manner
