Responsibilities - Reporting to the Campus Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance/Grounds Technician will be responsible for the following:
Completes tasks necessary to ensure the meticulous upkeep of the grounds and facilities for multiple campuses at Lakewood Ranch, Siesta Key and/or Clark Road.
Performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at various facilities/sites, including, but not limited to: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, and painting tasks. Performs minor troubleshooting, repairs and adjustments on furniture and equipment.
Continuously inspects campuses for safety, aesthetic needs, and corrects accordingly.

Qualifications - The following experience, skills & knowledge are required and/or preferred:
High school diploma required.
OSHA 10 certified required or must be obtained upon hire.
Must have knowledge of and be comfortable working with technology.
Self-directed individual who is solution orientated, flexible and works well with teams and individuals while possessing a positive attitude.
Must hold a valid Florida driver’s license.
Able to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail.
Must possess strong verbal and organizational skills.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a 12-month full-time non-exempt position eligible for overtime and available immediately. Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
