Teachers also maintain clear and responsive communication with families, providing regular detailed updates and reports on their child’s progress.
Beyond classroom responsibilities, the Lead Early Childhood Teacher is expected to:
Supervise and mentor a classroom assistant, ensuring a cohesive and effective learning environment.

Facilitate a family education meeting at the beginning of the year to deepen understanding of Seabury’s unique approach to education.
Conduct two parent-teacher conferences per child during the year to share insights and set goals for growth.
Create and maintain positive relationships with families
Actively participate in faculty meetings and professional development, contributing to the overall mission and vision of Seabury School.
Serve on committees and engage in school-wide initiatives and events, reinforcing the sense of community and shared purpose at Seabury.
