Princeton Day School is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Annual Giving who will be a member of the Advancement Team and will report to the Director of Annual Giving. The successful candidate will possess a firm understanding of the role education plays in the lives of individuals and society at large and be passionate about cultivating relationships within the PDS community.
For this position, the ideal candidate is expected to:
Help reach annual giving fundraising goals through volunteer management, communications, and creatively building donor engagement and stewardship strategies alongside the Director of Annual Giving.
Support and partner with colleagues across advancement functions.
Support operations for The PDS Fund through execution of appeals, stewardship, communication, and events.
Manage parent annual giving volunteers by providing materials and guidance for their outreach and coordinating volunteer events.
Assist in PDS Fund analysis and help suggest new participation strategies for parents and alumni.
Play an active role in managing the Advancement Office’s partnerships with GiveCampus and ThankView.
Execution of all Day of Giving elements – email solicitations, volunteer activities, and campus involvement.
In partnership with Director of Annual Giving and Communications colleagues, assist in the creation of the Annual Report.
Assist and manage other projects as needed or assigned.
Be a proactive member of the school community, attending athletic and artistic events, student presentations and other occasions.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes:
Bachelor’s degree required and a preferred minimum of three - five years of experience in fundraising.
Mission-driven, with an understanding of the role education plays in the lives of individuals and society at large.
Track record of professionalism, fundraising success, and both project and volunteer management.
Detail oriented but mindful of the bigger picture.
A collegial team player who appreciates the interdependence of a small, high-performing advancement shop.

This position works 5-days a week in the office located in Princeton, NJ (beautiful setting in our historic Colross building) and must be able to work occasionally in the evenings and at weekend events. We offer an excellent compensation package including 6 weeks paid time off and 15 holidays.
