St. Johnsbury Academy seeks a dynamic, practicing visual artist with a commitment to personal and professional excellence. This is a full-time position primarily in teaching and mentoring students in 2D courses such as watercolor, oil painting and drawing. Facilities include a large state of the art natural light studios with two electric kilns, 14 wheels, and dedicated ventilation.  Success in this position requires the ability to engage, teach, assess, and mentor students to their fullest potential and collaborate with others in the department on syllabus design, course resources, assignments and evaluations.  Each full-time faculty member also serves as an advisor and participates in student and residential life programs as assigned.
