We are seeking a full-time Middle School Choral Teacher to serve as a long-term substitute from August 6, 2025, to early November 2025.

About the Role

The Middle School arts program is a four-year journey in visual arts, theater and film, music and movement, and strings education. The choral teacher plays a vital role in nurturing students' musical growth, confidence, and appreciation for the performing arts. A successful candidate will bring enthusiasm, strong classroom leadership, and a love of working with middle school students.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and dynamic choral instruction for middle school students.
• Foster a joyful and inclusive classroom environment that builds students' confidence in music and performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the arts department to support interdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Organize and prepare students for performances as needed during the term.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Music or Music Education (Master's and Orff-Schulwerk certification preferred).
• Two or more years of classroom teaching experience.
• Strong piano accompaniment skills and a background in both teaching and performance.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
• A passion for inspiring young musicians and fostering a love of the arts.
