Job Overview:
The lead teacher is responsible for instruction in language arts, math, social studies, and social emotional learning. Further, the teacher is attuned to the specific learning needs and social-emotional development of each student. As the central figure in the network of adults supporting each child, the teacher maintains ongoing communications, formal and informal, with parents, specialist teachers, and administrators. The lead teacher participates in all activities of the school including weekly grade-level meetings, faculty committees, Open Houses, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Master’s degree in related field(s) and/or current teaching credential
Classroom experience in an elementary school setting
Experience integrating technology into the classroom
Ability to function well in a highly collaborative environment
Ability to use a range of approaches that represent and celebrate diverse cultures, experiences, and viewpoints
Ability to differentiate instruction so that students are appropriately challenged within their developmental level
A high degree of self-direction and flexibility
Eligibility to work in the USA; we are unable to provide sponsorship
Pass background check and provide negative TB test
