We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced elementary teacher to join our dedicated team and inspire a love of learning in our students. (One year position with the possibility to extend.)

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and meet the developmental needs of elementary age students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive social interaction, emotional development and a sense of belonging. 
• Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote respect and responsibility.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents regularly.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success and overall school goals.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.

Qualifications:

• Required: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
• Experience and knowledge of teaching phonics/ reading 
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Education or related field.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood/ childhood education.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with others.
