Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and meet the developmental needs of elementary age students.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive social interaction, emotional development and a sense of belonging.
Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote respect and responsibility.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents regularly.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success and overall school goals.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.
Qualifications:
Required: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
Experience and knowledge of teaching phonics/ reading
Preferred: Master’s degree in Education or related field.
Strong knowledge of early childhood/ childhood education.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with others.
