ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have experience working with elementary aged children and their families and is committed to supporting students to build their skills, strategies and metacognitive skills. Candidates should be adaptable, collaborative, proactive, personable and warm.
WORK SCHEDULE
Working hours are generally 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM; additional hours may be required in the evenings. Teachers are expected to attend faculty meetings on Thursdays from 3:45 PM until 5:00 PM.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing direct support to students in the Learning Center and students requiring extra support or challenge in small groups
Providing “push in” support in classrooms
Supporting grade level team members by providing resources and facilitating meetings regarding differentiation and best practice
Carrying out any assigned administrative duties
Proactively participating and contributing to the growth of the Learning Center by providing new directions, advocating for academically vulnerable students, and participating in ongoing professional development
SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary range: $60,000-$90,000; commensurate with experience. *Base faculty salaries do not reflect additional compensation based on degree level and stipends.
