THE MANDATE of The York School Board of Directors and Committees of the Board is to ensure the school’s long-term strength and permanence and its ability to fulfill the mission “to nurture curious learners to become globally minded leaders with integrity and purpose.” The York School Board of Directors and members of the Board committees are hard-working, dedicated volunteers supporting the current and future best interests of the school. Board Directors and committee members work together to formulate policy, oversee the school’s financial affairs, and select, retain, and counsel the Head of School.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES will be dynamic and dedicated volunteers who will support the current and future best interests of the school. The York School Board is seeking nominations/applications from alumni, alumni parents, current parents, and individuals from outside the school community. At this time, The York School Board particularly welcomes applications from candidates with expertise in the areas of Advancement/Fundraising, Finance, and Education.
