The Out-of-Door Academy seeks a Lower School Pre-K Lead Educator tojoin the Lower School Campus at Clark Road. We are committed to providing a relevant and student-centered learning experience for Pre-K through Grade 2 students on our evolving, new campus.
Responsibilities - Reporting to the Director of the Lower School- Clark Road, the Lower School Pre-K Lead Educatorwill be responsible for the following:
Oversee and plan individual, whole group, and small group work that differentiates instruction.
Assess, collect and maintain data on student academic progress.
Provide timely feedback to students and collaborate with faculty to offer specialized support in pursuit of each student’s learning goals.
Facilitate and design effective work and productive dialogue among students and teachers to enhance the program and student experience.
Select appropriate materials and resources to enrich and enhance the curriculum.
Live the school’s mission and core values of respect, integrity, service, excellence, and responsibility.
Qualifications - The following experience, skills & knowledge are required and/or preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education required; Master’s Degree preferred.
A passion for learning and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Proficient with Word, Excel and the Google drive platform.
A successful track record of working effectively with a wide range of constituencies including students, faculty, staff and parents.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a 10-month full-time exempt position available in August 2025. Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
