Qualifications and requirements include
a bachelor's degree with a master's preferred
experience in education within the math and/or science fields
excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
experience and confidence with technology
Middle School teachers are expected to
engage in inquiry-based pedagogy, including project-based learning and other experiential approaches, and embed mindfulness practices into the classroom experience. Knowledge of these approaches is beneficial, and a willingness to develop them is essential

We are looking for a Middle School Math & Science Teacher who is confident in their teaching experience and able to
instruct eighth-grade Science with an ecology and environmental science focus and additional MS/US Math or Science courses
design engaging lessons that meet the needs of a myriad of learners and utilize the unique ecological setting of the Rocky Hill campus
incorporate RHCD competencies into assessments
advise a small group of Middle School students
Other additional responsibilities include
attendance of professional growth opportunities and department and division meetings
participation in school-wide events and committees
any additional duties as assigned by the Division Head
