Jub Summary Turning Point School seeks a full-time Auxiliary Teacher to work in a supporting capacity with Head Teachers and Assistant Teachers during lunch, recess, after school, and other situations as needed with students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Regular hours for the position are Monday through Friday, 9:30 am – 6:00 pm. Competitive hourly rate of $19.00 - $20.00, based on experience. Benefits include but are not limited to medical, dental, FSA, and a generous retirement plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead and/or support the care of students in Kindergarten through 8th grade in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment during the school day and after school programs. • Provide Front Desk coverage during the school day and after school hours. • Support the After School + Summer Programs Coordinator with administrative tasks and during after school dismissals. • Prepare for and clean up after class activities and in shared learning spaces. • Coordinate with Head Teachers regarding individual students. • Support the preparation of indoor and outdoor learning environments in line with our whole child instructional philosophy. • Work with the instructional team to set behavioral expectations and help students stay accountable. • Actively participate in faculty culture committed to being at the leading edge of Preschool through Grade 8 education. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent credential • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in childcare and familiarity with student instruction is preferred
License/Certification: • First Aid Certification (Required) • CPR Certification (Required) Other Must complete the following in order to be employed: • Live Scan background check and criminal record summary • Tuberculosis (TB) risk assessment/test • Obtain other immunizations required by School • Submit documentation of eligibility to lawfully work in the United States
