The Webb School is looking for an Assistant Director of Admissions who brings energy, creativity, and a drive to do things differently. We are seeking someone who has the skills to succeed—not just years of experience. You should be a self-starter who embraces technology, brings fresh ideas to the table, and has a deep customer-service mindset. You’ll help lead our efforts to recruit and enroll mission-fit day, international, and domestic boarding students for grades 6–12 from outreach to yield.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Represent Webb to prospective students and families through communication, travel, school visits, interviews, and events on campus and beyond
• Develop and manage recruitment strategies for targeted markets
• Build strong relationships with families, educational consultants, placement directors, and communities
• Plan and execute on- and off-campus admission events
• Use our Finalsite Enrollment CRM system to drive communication, event registration, application submission, review, and potential enrollment
• Lead or contribute to application review and admission committee decisions
• Work closely with athletics, arts, and academic departments to create personalized admission experiences
• Bring new ideas to improve the admission process and prospective family experience
• Contribute to efforts to strengthen student retention and support family transitions

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal
• High attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills
• Comfort with technology and an overall learning growth mindset
• Willingness to travel and represent the school with energy and professionalism
• Someone who isn’t afraid to take the initiative
• A warm, friendly approach to working with students, families, and colleagues
• Admission experience is welcome, but not required—we value drive and adaptability
