George School, a Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA has an opening for a Leadership Gifts Officer.   This role will advance George School’s fundraising efforts by successfully cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding leadership gifts at the $10,000+ level.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 120 major donor prospects.
• Complete 120 donor visits annually. 
• Secure broad-based financial support through face-to-face and virtual meetings and engage with donors, prospective donors, and volunteers in a variety of settings. 
• Work closely with members of the Advancement team and the Head of School to collaboratively identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective donors. 
• Develop individual cultivation, engagement, and stewardship strategies for donors and prospects. 
• Write visit reports and provide recommendations to the advancement team for stewardship and follow-up strategies. 
• Prepare gift proposals for submission to prospective major donors.
• Attend and support on- and off-campus volunteer/donor functions.
• Fulfill George School social duty requirements as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
