Job responsibilities and opportunities include:

• Teaching two class periods including AP Computer Science A and other math courses in a standard college preparatory sequence. The other courses will be determined in the spring and will range from Geometry to Calculus
• Preparing students for the next grade level and level of Math
• Working collaboratively within the department and the Upper School as a whole
• Supervision duties

We are a small department who enjoys working collaboratively to ensure every student can be successful in their math class. We are available outside of class to help students who need extra help, and have a peer tutoring program through our chapter of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society. We incorporate technology into the classroom, including graphing calculators, Desmos, and other applications to enhance our curriculum as teachers see fit. We feel it is important to teach in a way that gives students with different types of learning styles the ability to succeed, including lecture, visual aids, opportunity for practice with immediate feedback, and collaboration with other students.
