The Langley School, a PS-8 independent school in McLean, Virginia, has an immediate opening for a full-time bus driver for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Some of the essential functions of the position are as follows:
- Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
- Check the condition of a vehicle’s tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment and keep bus interiors clean for students.
- Pick up and drop off students at regularly scheduled neighborhood locations, following strict time schedules.
- Prepare and submit reports that may include the number of students or trips, hours worked, mileage, or fuel consumption.
- Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs, delays, accidents or other traffic and transportation situations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required to have CDL with both the “P” and “S” endorsements, which authorizes the operation of a vehicle transporting passengers and the operation of a school bus. Three to five years previous experience driving school buses or equivalent.
