Position Summary
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of experience within a K–8 school setting located in Culver City, CA. This role is ideal for professionals seeking valuable experience in educational speech-language pathology and aiming to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development.
Note that this role is part-time with potential to become full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support communication goals.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate speech therapy into the classroom environment.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
Participate in school staffing meetings and contribute to goal-setting.
Collaborate with a speech and language team.
Hourly Pay: $35-40/hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit in on meetings and work on a computer for long periods. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:
Required
2 years of experience working as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
2 years of experience working in a school environment.
Completion of a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
ASHA Certified.
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license, or in the process of obtaining one.
Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse student populations and school staff.
Preferred
3-5 years of experience working as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
3-5 years of experience working in educational settings preferred.
