Location: Intermountain Christian School, Salt Lake City, UT (on-site)
Start date: July 2026 (2026–27 school year)
Intermountain Christian School (ICS) - a close-knit, mission-driven PreK-12 school - seeks a Head of School who will serve as both spiritual shepherd and strategic leader. Responsibilities
Reporting to the ICS School Board, the Head of School will:
- Directly supervise the Dean of Elementary School, Dean of Middle & High School, Athletic Director, and Operations Team; indirectly supervise all employees.
- Lead academic, spiritual, and cultural direction in alignment with ICS’s mission and values.
- Oversee curriculum, instruction, and faculty development to ensure excellence and robust integration of faith and learning.
- Recruit, develop, and hold faculty and staff to high professional and spiritual standards.
- Establish operational efficiency through systems of accountability and data-informed decision-making.
- Direct strategic growth in enrollment, financial sustainability, and advancement initiatives.
- Cultivate donor relationships and strengthen partnerships with local churches and Christian organizations.
- Serve as a visible, approachable presence with students, parents, and community stakeholders, including the Spiritual Accountability Partnership (SAP) of church leaders.
