This full-time, in-person position reports to the Director of Advancement and requires a person with excellent communication and organizational skills as well as facility with PC-based software (Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft Office, etc.).
Salary range: $70,000-$110,000 (commensurate with experience)
While previous experience in independent school development would be a plus, we will consider applicants with the desire and demonstrated ability to learn quickly. Numerical skills, attention to detail, organization, flexibility, and interpersonal skills are all essential to this position, as is discretion with confidential information. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree.
Primary responsibilities include database management (75%) and providing administrative support (25%) for the busy advancement office. Examples of duties include:
- Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date development database
- Compiling data for the annual report
- Entering biographical and research data in the development database
- Processing donations
- Printing and mailing gift receipts
- Communicating with families, including coordinating mailings and correspondence via e-mail.
- Preparing reports and materials for meetings and events
-Assisting with newsletter articles, donor tracking, managing event responses, website updates, research, and development analysis, working in conjunction with the other members of the advancement team
- Other duties as needed
