The Instructional Technology Leader & Middle School Teacher is a senior administrator who inspires exceptional teaching, champions innovation, and teaches a middle school IB MYP Design course. This leader strengthens communication with families, partners with academic teams, and helps students and teachers use technology confidently and creatively. Primary Responsibilities
Middle School Teaching
Teach an engaging IB MYP Design course for grades 6–8.
Model joyful, student-centered teaching and purposeful tech integration.
Build strong relationships that support a positive, inclusive middle school culture.
Collaborate with grade-level teams on curriculum, assessment, and student support.
Leadership, Communication & Schoolwide Coordination
Lead a clear, mission-aligned technology vision for PreK–8.
Communicate warmly and clearly with families about digital citizenship and school platforms.
Partner with academic leadership on instructional priorities and student culture
Instructional Growth & Teacher Support
Coach teachers in practical, creative strategies for high-impact technology use.
Design joyful, year-round professional learning through workshops and coaching cycles.
Support arts, science, design, and makerspace programs in hands-on, innovative learning.
Curate digital tools that elevate teaching and simplify classroom life.
Systems Oversight & Daily Operations
Oversee learning platforms, SIS/LMS, devices, and classroom AV to keep school life seamless.
Partner with Operations/IT to ensure responsive, friendly classroom support. Maintain user-friendly safety, privacy, and acceptable-use guidelines.
Co-lead AI and emerging-technology guidelines with clarity and care. Manage procurement and system maintenance that support teachers, students, and families.

Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree, with a master’s degree in a related field preferred. They will bring successful middle school teaching experience and ideally at least five years of K–8 teaching or coaching experience. Strong familiarity with K–8 learning platforms, Google Workspace, device management, and classroom AV is essential. Knowledge of ISTE Standards, data privacy practices, AI in education, and digital citizenship will support success in this role. The right candidate is highly organized, a skilled coach, and an effective communicator whose strengths align with Corbett Prep’s mission and culture.
