The MacDuffie Mustangs Athletics Department invites applications for the part time position of Track & Field Coach. • Fulfill all tasks attendant to the overall management of the Varsity Track & Field team and do so in a manner that is consistent with the educational mission of MacDuffie School and embodies the educational philosophies of the Department of Athletics and the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC).
• Promote the positive development and growth of student-athletes: academically, athletically and personally; and monitor academic progress of student-athletes to insure eligibility and progress towards graduation.
• Recruit and retain student athletes for the Varsity Track & Field team in accordance with The MacDuffie School and New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Guidelines.
• Understand and adhere to all MacDuffie School, and NEPSAC bylaws, rules, policies and protocols.
• Coordinate all practice and training sessions for the Varsity Track & Field team with the Director of Athletic Director and prepare the team for competition.
• Work with the Athletic Director to Develop Strength and Conditioning programs for the Varsity Track & Field student athletes.
• Report to Athletic Director. 

Job Requirements:

• Experience in coaching, playing at a higher education institution or high school level required.
• Bachelor's Degree 
• Knowledge and understanding of Institutional, NEPSAC policies and procedures, MacDuffie rules and conference rules are required.
• Knowledge of recruiting in Massachusetts and ability to judge high school players for talent to play on the Track & Field team of the school are required.
• Ability to instruct Track & Field related skills.
• Ability to exhibit good judgment.
• Support the Division's Collaborative Mission.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to work flexible hours (nights & weekends) required.
• Must have a valid Massachusetts driver's license.
