Purpose: The Episcopal School of Dallas has multiple track & field positions available for the spring of 2026. Looking for energetic coaches with a strong track & field background who want to teach and mentor young athletes and contribute to the growth of the ESD track & field program. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to lead young athletes and demonstrate proper technique for a variety of events. Must attend all practices and competitions and manage aspects of the program assigned by the varsity head coach.
Essential Functions:
Positively represent The Episcopal School of Dallas, along with appropriate supervision at all times.
Be on time for all required coaching responsibilities.
Manage game day logistics- warm-ups, race strategies, approach adjustments, etc.
Assist with development and implementation of daily practice plans.
Extended meet responsibilities dependent on schedule.
Valid Driver’s License, must be able to transport the team to and from meets.
Encourage and train the participants of the MS track & field program (Grades 7 & 8) - MS.
Coaching Position only.

Knowledge of specific event disciplines (distance for Varsity program) preferred
Ability to successfully communicate with student-athletes, parents, and members of the ESD athletic department
