We are looking to hire a Science teacher who is passionate about science and the act of teaching it to a diverse population of adolescent learners. In addition, our department is deeply collaborative and committed to supporting each other in service of our students. The ideal candidate will be expected to work within this collaborative environment and contribute to it in their own ways.
Responsibilities:
Teaching four academic courses, several of which may include double-period laboratory sections. Additional responsibilities may include advising/moderating an after school club or activity, attending weekly faculty meetings and participating in weekly planning-meetings with other science teachers. Finally, the candidate will be expected to support other school-wide supervisory duties.
