Compensation and Benefits
This is a 10-month, full-time instructional position that will begin August 1, 2026 for the 20206-2027 academic year. Full-time employees are eligible for our competitive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, disability, AD&D, life insurance, AFLAC ,and Seacrest’s 403(b) retirement program.

Lower School STEAM & Robotics Teacher
Seacrest Country Day School, a PS-12th grade independent, college preparatory school in Naples, Florida, is seeking an experienced Lower School STEAM & Technology Teacher. The ideal candidate will enjoy supporting, developing, and implementing educational strategies consistent with the Seacrest mission, values, and initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement an age-appropriate STEAM / Robotics curriculum that aligns with national and state standards, fostering student exploration in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Develop detailed lesson plans incorporating hands-on activities, experiments, and creative projects that integrate STEAM concepts and support inquiry-based learning.
Design and deliver engaging learning activities covering computer basics, internet safety, coding, multimedia production, and digital citizenship, aligned with relevant educational standards.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to support STEAM integration across the curriculum and assist with co-teaching or lesson modeling as needed.
Maintain a classroom environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, experimentation, and safety, encouraging curiosity and respectful participation.
Provide guidance and support to help students explore STEAM concepts through exploration, experimentation, and discovery.
Integrate technology into cross-curricular projects and activities to enhance learning across subject areas.
Common Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Strong knowledge of STEAM / Robotics concepts and educational technology tools, software applications, and digital resources suitable for kindergarten through 5th grade.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Differentiate instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that fosters intellectual curiosity and character development.
Strong classroom management, proficiency in Google Workspace and other educational technology.
