Position Summary

Nobles seeks an admission officer to join our faculty. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic admission office whose members are passionate about the school, working with students and fulfilling the Nobles mission. The role of admission officer is multifaceted: This person will work in a department of admission professionals, faculty, and staff to recruit prospective students and families, cultivate relationships with schools and community-based organizations, administer recruitment and yield events, and evaluate applications. 

We seek a candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm for working at a highly selective independent school and a desire to embrace Nobles’ mission and values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate fully in recruitment efforts to support enrollment goals
• Maintain consistent, mission-aligned communication with schools, community-based organizations and prospective families
• Conduct extensive interviewing and application review as part of the admission committee
• Assist with admission events and communication efforts
• Maintain an on-campus presence throughout the day, including attending morning assembly, faculty meetings and academic, athletic and extracurricular activities 
• Fulfill other duties (coaching, advising, etc.) as assigned by the supervisor
• Expect some evening and weekend work for this position
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Effective communication skills (interpersonal, written, oral)
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Ability to create and contribute to an engaging and inclusive learning environment and workplace
• Ability to be flexible, effectively manage stress, and adapt to changing work priorities and assignments
