Strategic Venue & Production Leadership 

• Provide overall leadership for the operation of the Bezdek Performing Arts Center. 
• Establish and enforce venue, production, and scheduling standards consistent with professional performing arts practice and school policies. 
• Independently prioritize competing uses of the facility, balancing instructional needs, performances, and revenue producing rentals. 
• Serve as the principal decision maker regarding production feasibility, risk assessment, and operational readiness. 

Revenue Generation & External Rentals 

• Lead the strategy for external rentals and other earned revenue opportunities.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with external presenters, artists, producers, and clients.
• Exercise discretion over pricing, rental terms, and contract approvals within established guidelines.
• Evaluate rental opportunities based on financial return, operational impact, and mission alignment.
• Oversee event budgeting, settlements, and post event financial analysis. 

Production Oversight & Coordination 

• Oversee planning and execution of school and external productions, ensuring alignment across artistic, technical, and operational needs. 
• Supervise the Lead Technical Manager and ensure technical strategy supports production objectives.
• Address complex production and scheduling challenges requiring judgment and trade off decisions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices for live performance environments. 

Staff, Vendor, and Institutional Collaboration 

• Supervise, coach, and evaluate direct reports. 
• Contract and manage external vendors and over hire personnel. 
• Coordinate with faculty, staff, and administrators to support curricular and co-curricular arts programming. 
• Represent Bezdek in cross departmental planning and institutional initiatives. 

• Significant experience in performing arts venue operations, production leadership, or comparable environments. 
• Demonstrated success managing complex schedules, budgets, and stakeholder relationships. 
• Strong independent judgment with demonstrated financial and operational decision making authority. 
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
