We are seeking a candidate with:- A passion for teaching art to children- The enthusiasm and innovation to be able to offer a variety of high levelprojects in various media- Knowledge and expertise in the field of art, with continued attention tocurrent research about art education- Effective interpersonal skills for department, colleague, and parentcommunication- Strong written and oral skills- A desire to encourage the artistic strengths of individual students and theability to adapt instruction for various learning stylesResponsibilities include (but are not limited to):- Teaching all students in Grade 1 to Grade 5 once a week (17 hoursinstruction time)- Developing appropriate curriculum and projects
