If you are excited about teaching in a fast-paced, ambitious, collaborative academic environment, we encourage you to consider joining the faculty at Ransom Everglades School. We are looking to add to a collegial team of more than 120 faculty members who teach, advise, coach, direct, support, and inspire students. Our faculty and staff place a high value on academic excellence and a culture of inclusivity and belonging, and work to inspire our students—in the words of our founder—“to put more into the world than they take from it.” If you are eager to discuss ideas with students, to prepare them to lead and serve, and to challenge them to think broadly about their place in the world, we hope you will consider joining our faculty.
Ransom Everglades supports faculty with a strong community and budgetary emphasis on professional growth and development, a generous benefits package benchmarked against the nation’s top independent schools, and a faculty wellness program focusing on the physical, mental, and emotional health of our faculty.
We anticipate needs in all subject areas beginning in August 2023. We are eager to enhance the diversity, collective experience, and unique talents of the faculty, and welcome applications from a broad range of candidates who believe they can contribute at Ransom Everglades. Candidates who are passionate about their field, who have demonstrated excellence in the skills that characterize master teachers, and who are eager to engage in the life of the school outside of the classroom will be particularly attractive.
Preferred Education, Background, and Skills
- Master’s degree or higher in field related to teaching discipline(s).
- Familiar with Google, Microsoft, and Adobe Suites.
- Adaptable. Empathetic. Patient. A Go Getter.
