AES seeks a dynamic English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher in Elementary School. This person has extensive experience as an EAL educator - they will have an inclusive perspective on developing academic English. They will be knowledgeable and experienced in current immersive EAL practices including co-teaching and co-planning, and have a passion for teaching the elementary school years.
Qualifications and Experience
- Undergraduate Degree (BA/BS) required; Master’s degree will be an advantage.
- 3+ years of successful teaching experience
- Current and relevant license/certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Organizational & time management and follow through
- Ability to participate in and establish collaborative structures
