The Advanced Studies Program at St. Paul’s School announces a search for the position of Major Course Teacher of Psychology for a five-week residential program running mid-June through late July of summer of 2023. This summer's program will run June 22-August 1.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position includes designing and teaching a rigorous course for approximately 10-12 talented and engaged rising high school seniors from New Hampshire’s public and parochial schools and mentoring 1-2 college-aged interns. The successful candidate will have prior teaching experience at the secondary school or collegiate level and will have demonstrated expertise in experiential and project-based learning and building classes around future-focused essential questions. The Advanced Studies Program seeks innovative educators who are eager to participate in the academic and co-curricular life of a dynamic residential community.
The Advanced Studies Program, serving talented and engaged rising seniors from New Hampshire’s public and parochial schools is an initiative of St. Paul’s School, a residential, co-educational secondary school in Concord, NH. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher); two or more years teaching at the secondary or collegiate level. Lively interest in current pedagogy and scholarship.
For the summer of 2023, this position will require a willingness to follow any COVID-19 protocols set by St. Paul’s School in advance of the launch of the program.
