This position is a full-time, teaching position beginning January, 2025.
Responsibilities: The Middle School Math Teacher will report to the Head of Middle School and will be responsible for teaching four Math classes to students in 8th grade. Courses will include Pre-Algebra and Algebra I. High consideration will be given to candidates with at least three years or more of teaching experience. In addition to the normal teaching responsibilities, he/she will advise a group of ten students, and perform periodic duty assignments (lunch, or other areas of supervision).
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Math Education is required and three or more years teaching experience is preferred. Candidates should have a strong academic background, proficient technology skills, and an interest in global studies. The candidate should have superb organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
