COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Compensation is dependent upon, but not limited to, experience, degree obtained and expertise. The
full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $85,000 to $90,000. At Notre Dame School you

Associate Director of Annual Giving The Notre Dame School of Manhattan’s Associate Director of Annual Giving will be responsible for leading the strategic management of established donors, and the growth of new and existing prospects. The Associate Director of Annual Giving will be self motivated and innovative in order to strengthen the organization’s philanthropic developments. They will work closely with and report directly to the Director of Development and Alumnae Relations to increase the Annual Fund, in conjunction with the five (5) other members of the Development Team. The Associate Director of Annual Giving is a critical position and shares the responsibility of building out relationships with external and internal constituents to increase philanthropic support for Notre Dame School of Manhattan. In carrying out this role, he or she will develop a keen understanding of the school’s history and traditions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ? Manage a portfolio of existing donors to effectively increase their support and steward. ? Work strategically and collaboratively with the Development team to plan and execute the marketing behind carrying out four (4) successful giving campaigns. ? Work with the Development Team to align efforts and set goals. ? Participate in weekly prospect pipeline and strategy meetings. ? Prioritize face to face solicitations where local travel may be required. ? Solicit donor prospects who align with the mission of the school. ? Review and implement strategic process for cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors. ? Challenge oneself to meet and exceed fundraising goals to maximize organization’s impact. ? Utilize systems and software to track and cultivate donors and prospects, including our donor database and wealth screening tools. ? Establish tailored donor cultivation activities, including school tours, meetings and receptions. ? Enter call reports in the donor database and maintain detailed records on donors. ? Manage scholarship partnerships, both through individual and institutional donors. ? Engage in ongoing professional development and involvement with NYSAIS, NAIS and CASE. ? Attend on-campus and off-campus meetings and events, as necessary. ? Write correspondence, reports, and proposals. ? Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS ? Bachelor’s degree or higher. ? Experience in individual giving and/or development programs preferred. ? Demonstrated success in securing gifts using current best-practices and new technologies. ? Proficiency with the Google and Microsoft suite of applications, social media tools, web publishing, fundraising software and databases required, including Raiser’s Edge.
? Proven ability to handle a diverse portfolio of responsibility, to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines. ? Ability to be flexible and proactive, to work independently as well as collaboratively. ? Demonstrate great integrity and tact, and able to maintain confidentiality. ? Commitment to high personal performance and teamwork. ? Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills. ? Regular work schedule requires working in the office Mon. through Fri. from 9 am – 5:00 pm. ? Ability to work nights and weekends as required. ? Familiarity and enthusiasm for the school’s mission.
