Middle School Substitute Teacher
Summary of Position: Milton Academy seeks substitute teachers for middle school classes (Grades 6 – 8). This role will be utilized for absences that are planned as well as late-notification situations. Whenever possible, advanced notice will be given to a substitute so that they can prepare accordingly. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: The substitute teacher will be expected to follow the lesson plans outlined by the primary teacher, and work with other members of the Middle School faculty to ensure that there is effective classroom management and supervision of students both for the classes and other activities during the day (i.e. lunch, recess, etc.)
