All Saints’ Episcopal Day School in Central Phoenix is currently accepting applications for a lead teacher position (grades K, 1, 2, 3, or 4). Candidates will join an exceptional and talented faculty and work with bright, motivated, and engaging students. We have small classes with 16–18 students in a homeroom and a highly collaborative working environment. The position begins August 2024.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education (advanced study and/or master’s degree is preferred) and at least four years of classroom teaching experience. Creativity, a true passion for teaching and learning, and a positive attitude are desired—as well as the ability to maintain a safe and structured learning environment within a dynamic, student-centered classroom. Ideal candidates will have the ability to build positive and meaningful relationships with their students, families, and colleagues and will demonstrate strong communication skills with both children and adults. Additionally, the candidate must have strong collaborative skills and be able to work closely with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional planning. We expect candidates to regularly participate in professional development, support students, and work well with our community.
