We are currently seeking a talented Multimedia Content Creator with a passion for video production and a keen eye for design. A successful candidate must have their finger on the pulse of emerging trends across all social media platforms and produce content that resonates with a young audience. Most importantly, a successful candidate must have a good deal of onset videography, editing and audio experience.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Direct, shoot and edit compelling video content for all social media platforms (Instagram, IGTV, Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook) to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and increase followership.
- Create static, and animated assets with an elevated aesthetic.
- Source, curate, create, and edit all written and visual content for video publishing. Research competitive landscape to identify seasonal trends, strategic initiatives, best practices, and social innovation.
- Develop, prioritize, pitch social and digital ideas that align with editorial objectives and prioritize storytelling.
- Develop new series and expand on our current programs.
- Improve and maintain current website and oversee necessary changes.
- Maintain content on student and parent portal.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Three years’ experience working in film/video production.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to edit and capture high-quality video with HDSLR and professional video cameras.
- Proficiency in a range of video-related software, including but not limited to, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor, Premiere, After Effects, Pro Tools, and Photoshop.
- Advanced knowledge of web video distribution for social media platforms.
- Ability to write and edit descriptions and on-screen captions for video content.
- Advanced experience with distributing web video across social media
- Excellent communication skills and team oriented.
