WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Human Resources Director is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of Human Resource functions at Bosque School and for collaborating with the administration in developing a culture that enables employees to perform in accordance with the School’s mission, values, and objectives. As a member of the Leadership Team, and reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Human Resources sets concrete goals and delivers key results to enhance the school’s working environment, strategic staffing initiatives, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. The HR Director also performs the operational functions of the Human Resources department including hiring, supporting managers in employee evaluation, benefits, leave, and enforcing school policies and practices while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. The Human Resources Director is a master of organization (managing both immediate and urgent tasks efficiently and effectively), communication, and collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years experience in Human Resource Management. School experience preferred but not required
• SHRM-CP or -SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
• Absolute integrity, discretion, and confidentiality, coupled with an extraordinary work ethic
• Commitment to Bosque School’s mission and values and the creation of a progressive, student-centered, inquiry-based educational model
• Passion and skill to contribute positively to an educational environment that supports a lifelong love of learning
