The Loomis Chaffee School seeks an Alumni Admissions Fellow to join a talented, enthusiastic admission team and an engaged, equity-minded faculty committed to the growth and development of young people and passionate about the school’s mission to inspire in our students a commitment to the best self and the common good.
The Alumni Admissions Fellow (AAF) is a position with the goal of introducing Loomis Chaffee alumni to a potential career in admissions at independent schools. It is a school year (through early June) position that is available beginning August 2022. This position will provide the opportunity to engage in all aspects of admission including recruitment, interviewing and file review. Additional duties will include those expected of full-time faculty such as faculty meetings and other school-wide responsibilities such as coaching if needs warrant.
PLEASE NOTE:
Given the persistent risks of the spread of the Covid-19 virus -- risks that are heightened due to the emergence of more highly transmissible variants -- all employees of the School are required to be fully vaccinated and boosted if eligible by their first day of work as a condition of employment. Employees who are unable to receive the vaccine due to disability, medical condition, or a sincerely held religious belief may request an exemption, which will be reviewed by the School to determine the availability of any reasonable accommodations.
The Loomis Chaffee School does not discriminate against employees on the basis of race, color, religious creed, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status or disability. This policy applies to, but is not limited to, admission, financial aid, employment, use of school facilities and participation in school activities.
