St. Martin's-in-the-Field Episcopal School is an accredited, co-educational independent day school enrolling 280 students (Preschool-8th). St. Martin’s Episcopal School seeks a creative, energetic, and skilled Early Childhood Education specialist to teach a Preschool class of 3-year-olds. The Lead Teacher role will be supported by an Assistant. 

We seek candidates who are prepared to plan curriculum that builds on themes and concepts as well as lead activities that give students opportunities to learn through play. The ideal candidate will be: experienced teaching the age group, positive and professional, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in an independent school.

In addition to ensuring a balanced educational program, candidates must be prepared to communicate effectively both verbally and electronically with parents, follow school operational procedures, maintain a clean and safe learning environment, attend meetings, functions, and training as required, support the spirit of our Episcopal school, collaborate on a team, and perform other duties as assigned.
